The JNHA prepares a special Issue on Frailty & Cognitive Decline

The Journal of Nutrition, Health and Aging is one of the Journals of the IAGG and the European Union Geriatric Medicine Society. It focuses mainly on scientific and clinical issues related to interactions between nutrition and health as part of the aging process. A major aim of JNHA is to contribute to knowledge on the relationships between nutrition and the aging process throughout adulthood to old age.

JNHA is growing fast (Impact factor : 2.231), and is indexed MEDLINE/Index Medicus, in Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, in Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition, in Science Citation Index Expanded (Sci Search), in EXCERPTA MEDICA (EMBASE and BIOBASE), in Mental Health Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts (CA). Please visit the journal’s website at http://www.springer.com/medicine/family/journal/12603 for information on the Journal’s scope and Editorial Board.

The Journal is planning a special Theme Issue on Frailty and Cognitive Decline. We are gathering papers from eminent scientists with expertise in the areas of frailty, sarcopenia, body composition and functional decline, and their relationship to cognitive decline and dementia.

It is thus with great pleasure that we are launching a call for manuscripts for this theme issue. Manuscripts must be submitted to http://jnha.edmgr.com/ by October 31, 2010. All submitted manuscripts will be peer reviewed prior to a decision on acceptance for publication. Instructions to Contributors can be found at http://www.springer.com/medicine/family/journal/12603. You may also communicate with Carine Giry, Editorial Assistant at carine.giry@serdi-fr.com for further details on submission. Please mention that your paper has been submitted for consideration in the special issue on Frailty and Cognitive Decline.

We look forward to receiving your manuscript.
