The congress theme "Age Well - Challenges for Individuals and Society",will highlight notions concerning functioning and well-being, despite the threats and challenges confronting aging individuals. What can we learn from research suggesting measures aiming at the reduction of the effects of compromised health and functioning, and how can we increase autonomy and societal participation? The main track of the congress includes sessions on multiple aspects of aging, from cell to society.
