During the European Congress on Obesity (ECO2012), IAGG will organize a joint session with the European Association for the Study of Obesity (AESO) on a topic related to obesity in elderly subjects. The 21st Nordic Congress of Gerontology is organized by the Danish Society of Gerontology and the Danish Society of Geriatrics in Copenhagen and is entitled “Dilemmas in Ageing Societies”. The 2012 New Zealand Association of Gerontology Conference will take place at the Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre of Auckland on the theme of “Ageing and Diversity”. It will focus on the health aspects of an ageing population, presenting up-to-date research and informed discussion about the health needs of an ageing population, how to best serve those needs and the impact on the health system. The ASEM is the primary multi-disciplinary conference in Canada for those interested in individual and population aging.
