This 1st workshop was held on June 4th and 5th in Toulouse, France. Its theme was "Identification of the main relevant domains for clinical research & quality of care in nursing homes". 15 worldwide specialists and 15 observers got together to present different topics to improve nursing home care. The aim is to report the evidences of the low access to clinical trial of the nursing home residents. The final recommendations for future researches in nursing homes will be distributed soon.
